Oversized Jackets and Coats

It seems that oversized jackets have been the it thing this past season - it's cute, edgy and so cheap (if your lucky to find a vintage from your parents). Can I also mention it is soo comfy! The feeling of being rugged up is the best feeling during these colder months. I have been inspired by so many other bloggers including Lissy Rody, who has taken oversized to another level. As always Ariana Grande makes anything look cute - she could possibly where a sack with boots and make it a thing (lol).

Schools out!!! Happy holidays teachers! April has crept up so quick. Term 1 was definitely challenge and I have had countless ups and downs. I am here, I am alive, and sometimes it takes a big crash to come back a whole lot stronger and better. This year I want to bring more to this blog - include my teaching strategies and ideas that I do with my kids with disabilities. Yes I love sharing fashion, but I am also passionate about teaching. Of course, all from my favourite shop Valley Girl, and sister store Temt. 

Valley Girl: Wine on me

Many of you who have followed me over the years probably know that Valley Girl has been one of my go to places when it comes to bargain hunting. What's exciting is that now they have gone ONLINE!!!! So now I won't have trouble trying to source similar items on line for you peeps out of Australia. Here are one of my favourite outfits with the Delta Choker top which is now on sale down to $14.95! It comes in wine red and nude. Easy to dress up and down with a sleek pair of trousers, culotte or skirt. Here are a few I've found online below.

JORD watches

I have always been very fond of unique timepieces, especially ones that can be easily matched up with any outfit. JORD watches instantly caught my eye - with their vast range of minimalistic designs and colour combinations. Valleygirl: The leather jacket

Leather jackets are always a winner in the wardrobe. During winter this year, my 2 year old faux leather jacket finally came to its end. I was quite surprised how long it lasted considering it was faux leather and I probably didn't take much care of it. I was eyeing down this grey leather jacket for weeks and finally found the will to buy it (wardrobe is spewing clothes). No regrets though - the possibilities are endless with this number! Consider grey the new black. Here are a few outfits I've put together over the weeks.

Stelly Clothing: Taylor Luxe pants

I'm back and into the rhythm of things :)

Sorry all! Teacher life getting the best of me. Today's style post looks at the Taylor Luxe pants from Stelly. Love these. A great staple for the wardrobe all year round. Why? Nude, high waist and breathable stretch fabric - my lovable combo for mixing and matching. The unique style cut around the waist makes it different from your other pants, and it's cropped length makes it easy to lengthen the legs.

Styling for less: After 5pm office look

I was cleaning out my wardrobe the other week (once again). I noticed how much 'office-looking-stuff' I had, probably due to working at David Jones for a year before I began my teaching career. Of course working at David Jones meant that you would have to wear black, everyday. Not that it was any different from what I wore out of work anyway (haha). Anyway, I was in the mood to mix and match some old and new garments and ended up creating one of my favourite ensembles for a casual night out. I paired up my high-waist wide leg pants I bought from ValleyGirl about 2 years ago with a black bandeau from Boohoo, and my Glassons sleeveless jacket. Oh the fun in recycling clothes!!
